Blessed with good looks and a natural flair for music, up and coming vocalist Isaiah Antonio should be at the cusp of being a household name.
But he’s chosen to take his time and refine his craft – deciding not just to make a name as an entertainer, but as a true artist along the likes of John Mayer and Jason Mraz whom he credits as his musical influences.
Hailing from a family of achievers and go-getters, Isaiah is immersing himself in other facets of entertainment other aspiring talents usually forego.
Like taking up a degree in Music Production. While singing is his natural gift, he has taken it upon himself to learn the technical side and ins and outs of his craft, for a more holistic and grounded approach.
This decision to remain focused in school amid the call of the limelight makes Isaiah an ideal spokesperson for the Department of Education’s Check My School campaign – in cooperation with the Affiliated Network for Social Accountability in East Asia and the Pacific.
In the campaign’s promotional music video, Isaiah advocates the use of prevailing technologies to find out details of schools around the country – driving viewers to the campaign website.
Certainly, Isaiah is taking his time. But he’s also taking the right steps.
