Artists Sam Milby and Yeng Constantino have joined the pool of celebrities who entrust their styling to Salon De Manila.
Creative Director Pin Antonio confirmed this recently, saying, “We’re flattered to have Sam and Yeng with us in Salon De Manila. I think it speaks well of us that artists of their stature and popularity would choose us for their styling needs. They’re very visible that’s why styling is important in their careers as entertainers.”
Sam Milby is one of local entertainment’s premiere leading men and a consistent box-office draw – recently appearing in the film Babe, I Love You under Star Cinema. His other film work includes Ang Tanging Pamilya: A Marry Go Round, And I Love You So, Cul De Sac, and My Big Love, just to mention a few.
Apart from acting, Sam also has a strong portfolio as a recording artist – releasing albums and staging concerts around the country. His self-titled album earned a Platinum Award for being a best-selling album.
His efforts, so far, have earned him a multitude of accolades, including: Best New Male New Artist, (2006 Aliw Awards), Most Promising Male Singer (2006 Guillermo Awards), Prince of Philippine Movies (Guillermo Awards), and Best Actor and Male Performing Artist (2009 Dangal ng Bayan Awards), to name some from a long and growing list.
Yeng Constantino started in entertainment after winning as the Grand Star Dreamer in the talent search Pinoy Dream Academy. She was immediately launched as a solo recording artist with her first album, Salamat, that earned a Triple Platinum Award for breakthrough sales. She followed this up with two popular and successful albums, Journey, which was certified Gold, and Lapit, which was awarded Album Of The Year in the 2010 PMPC Star Awards for Music.
As singer and songwriter, she performs on tours both locally and internationally and is also a mainstay of popular variety show, ASAP, and Music Update Live.
In a young career, Yeng has managed to haul awards in her field – scoring 5 wins in the recent 2011 Myx Music Awards, namely: Favorite Music Video and Favorite Song (Jeepney Love Story), Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Collaboration (Kung Wala Na Nga with 6cyclemind and Kean Cipriano), and Favorite Myx Celebrity VJ. This was a duplication of her feat in the 2008 Awit Awards for her work in her album and carrier-single, Salamat, which won Album of the Year, Best Inspirational/Religious Song, Best-selling Album of the Year, People’s Choice Song of the Year, and where she also won the People’s Choice Music Video Award for Time In.
